Former senior journalist of The Bangladesh Observer, now defunct, Azizul Haque died of a cardiac arrest at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) in Dhaka tonight (Wednesday). He was 72.
Jatiya Press Club president Shafiqur Rahman and general secretary Quamrul Islam Chowdhury expressed profound admiration at his death.
In a condolence statement, they prayed for eternal friendship of the departed soul and conveyed deep empathy to the bereaved relatives members.
