5 top officials get new postings

In the latest reshuffle in the public administration, five top officials have been transferred and given new postings, reports news agency UNB.
The Public Administration Ministry issued two notifications in this regard on Monday.
As per a notification, Social Welfare Secretary Tariqul Islam has been made Planning Division Secretary while Religious Affairs Secretary Dr Chowdhury Md Babul Hassan replaced Tariqul.
Director General of Bangladesh Television Abdul Mannan has been made acting member (acting secretary) of the Planning Commission, while Land Record and Survey Department DG Abdul Jalil made acting Religious Affairs Secretary.
According to the other notification, Planning Commission member Dr Md Abdur Rob Howlader has been made Secretary of the Parliament Secretariat.
